New York

New York! New York! What a place. What a race. It was such a thrill! Such an experience. I loved the whole event. A complete turnaround from Chicago. I will take more time on my return in order to do justice to the experinence. I was thrilled with my 3:49:01. Wow!

Darryl and Gidget did an awesome job and it was great to be at the finish to see them come in together.

That's fantastic Rob. Of course I'd already looked up your time on the website - the only RR from Qld!

Now you'll have Tigger goin'
She'll be writin' a new poem
About Rob runnin' in Central Park
His 3:49 marathon was just a lark.

Even though it was a long time ago I still have fond memories of my run in New York. I'm sure you will treasure your memories of it for a long time as well.

Coming back to AusLand
Eddie, is the man
This was bound to be
Completing marathon 3

It's too early to tell
But let's hope he's well
Otherwise there'll be strife
When he gets home to his wife

Assuming all is fine
And with 2009 in mind
Who's game to ask
What's the next task?

Certainly not Tigger
Maybe Ewen can figure
The 2009 plan
For Eddie, the man!
