An Award

I spent Thursday and Friday last week at a very intense planning workshop. Each of the participants, 12 in all, had to give a presentation. My contribution was very short but apparently had some impact as our Group manager awarded for me the "best presentation" . I work with a bunch of young high achievers and sometimes feel quite out of my league so my award means a great deal to me.

Today was much warmer than last Sunday and I enjoyed my 16K run immensely.

Eddie, I wondered how "intense" your workshop was as it was down at the coast wasn't it? But seriously congratulations with the award and it would be something special to work with young achievers. It must have been a great presentation you gave.

Good on ya Eddie for showing those young 'uns a thing or two. No wonder they are such high achievers tho, having somebody like you around to teach and inspire them. Congrats.

Congratulations on the award Eddie. It seems as though you are teaching those young'uns a lesson the same way you do on the road.

My boss has a sign in his office:
"Old age and trechery will always overcome youth and skill".

Can't imagine you ever resorting to trechery though. Well done Eddie.

The weather is playing with us. It gives us a few nice days then whacks us like this morning with a chill.

Congratulations on the Award.
