A Boost

This morning's run was really good. 30K in 2:23, average pace 4:46. The humidity was much less than last week and running was much less exhausting. I had a 4:09 for the 27th K and then 4:13, 4:14 and 4:23 to finish to finish off.

The run was a real boost after my enforced easy week. Hopefully I can stick with the program this week and make it to the total of 100K which includes a 34K next Sunday. The last big effort before the Marathon.

Yay Eddie!!! A very confident sounding post there, that's what I like to see.

Actually I thought it was a tad humid this morning, I was drenched after the BRRC Half.

Told you not too worry about last week. Top effort.

False Alarm!!! Eddie is OK everyone. Forget last week, he is back with plenty of time to fine tune his assault on Canberra

Fantastic results Eddie. You must be wrapped with that.

You and JDark are both doing so well on that program - a testiment to following it strictly to the letter.

Don't try to make up for missed time - if anything the rest will have done more than just knock the bug on its' head. It would also have rested your legs and the brain from all that training - so this week will be enourmous but you will cope beatifully i am sure.

Not long now till Canberra and I am so excited about seeing you at that finish line just after the 3 hour mark :)

Back on track it seems Eddie. A week more of the hard miles and you'll be set for Canberra.

Stay healthy!
